Privacy policy

Draft — not legal advice

This policy is a starting template for a software service that uses third-party authentication, optional payments, and AI providers. Have qualified counsel review and adapt it before you treat it as binding for your company or jurisdiction.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Oracle Vision LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with Method Moirai (the “Service”), including our website and related applications.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read this notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Information we collect

Account and identity. If you sign in, we rely on our authentication provider (e.g. Clerk) to process identifiers such as email address, name, and session tokens. We do not receive your password for that provider.

Content you provide. Text you enter (including prompts, workshop messages, uploads, and documents you create in the product), files you attach, and similar inputs you submit to the Service.

Usage and technical data. Standard server and application logs may include IP address, device/browser type, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, pages or features used, and diagnostic data needed to operate and secure the Service.

Billing. If you purchase a paid plan, our payment processor (e.g. Stripe) collects payment method details and billing contact information. We typically receive limited billing metadata (such as subscription status and customer identifiers), not full card numbers.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • Authenticate users and prevent fraud or abuse;
  • Process subscriptions and communicate about billing;
  • Run, monitor, and secure our infrastructure;
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms; and
  • Analyze aggregated or de-identified usage to improve the product where permitted.

AI processing

Parts of the Service send your prompts and related context to third-party AI model providers to generate outputs. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Do not submit highly sensitive personal data (for example government IDs, full payment card numbers, or health information) unless you have confirmed appropriate safeguards and legality.

How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that host the Service, run databases, send email, process payments, provide analytics, or supply AI inference — only as needed for their role;
  • Professional advisers where required (e.g. lawyers, accountants); and
  • Authorities when we believe disclosure is required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.

We do not sell your personal information in the conventional “data broker” sense.

Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and backend configuration; you may request deletion as described below where applicable law applies.

Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise rights, contact us using the details below. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) or rely on other lawful transfer mechanisms. Your counsel should confirm wording for your actual data flows.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires a different process.
